Two days 4th bi-annual conf ‘Young HSICON-26’ to start from today
The prestigious Young Hernia Society of India Conference (Young HSICON) series, a well-recognized academic platform in the field of hernia surgery, is set to host its 4th bi-annual national conference—Young HSICON2026—at JW Marriott, Chandigarh on March 28 and 29. The two-day conference will be conducted under the banner of the Hernia Society of India in association with the Punjab Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India.
Chandigarh, March 27, 2026: The prestigious Young Hernia Society of India Conference (Young HSICON) series, a well-recognized academic platform in the field of hernia surgery, is set to host its 4th bi-annual national conference—Young HSICON2026—at JW Marriott, Chandigarh on March 28 and 29. The two-day conference will be conducted under the banner of the Hernia Society of India in association with the Punjab Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India.
The conference is being led by Dr. Anupam Goel, Senior Robotic Surgeon at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali, who is Organising Chairman for this edition of bi-annual national conference.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Dr. Anupam Goel said, “Young HSICON series itself is a brand in our field. With every edition, we have strengthened its academic value and outreach. Hosting the 4th bi-annual conference in Chandigarh is a matter of great pride, as we bring together some of the finest surgical minds from across the country. This platform is not just about learning, but about shaping the future of hernia surgery through collaboration, innovation, and shared expertise.”
This year’s conference will witness participation from over 400 leading surgeons, including 250 regional delegates, 100 national experts, and 75 industry professionals, making it one of the most significant gatherings in the field of hernia surgery. The event will feature a comprehensive scientific program including mastervideo surgical sessions, panel discussions, research presentations, and deliberations on the latest advancements in laparoscopic and robotic hernia surgery.
