Two-day workshop on Samvidhan Be a Jagrik concludes at PAU today

Ludhiana, July 8, 2022: Two days’ workshop on Samvidhan Be a Jagrik was held at PAU Ludhiana under the able guidance of Secretary and Director of Sports and Youth Services Govt. of Punjab. In this workshop the youth from three districts Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Patiala were invited to participate. Today in the first session Amit Kumar Panchal, IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner (RD) was chief guest and specially interested him to interact with the youth regarding their constitutional rights and their duties. In the exposure session one special guest from Innovation Mission Punjab, CEO and Mission Director Somveer Anand was invited to speak on startup and how to start your own venture with new innovative ideas with the help of Innovation Mission Punjab. In the second session Jamghat Task was started. The aim of Jamghat was on reflections on the weekly tasks by UNICEF/CYC team in a play way manner. 

In the next session process and role of the youth facilitators was discussed by the expert team. At the same time consolidating stages of Journey was discussed with youth facilitators. In this session Arun Kumar, Assistant Director, Youth Services Patiala, Dr. Malkit Mann, Assistant Director, Youth Services, Ludhiana and Jaspal Singh, Assistant Director, Youth Services, Jalandhar were also engaged with youth of their respective districts. At the end of the session Harsh Kumar from District Administration Ludhiana was invited to honour the participants with acknowledgement certificates and momentous as a token of love. At the end of the session Jaspal Singh Assistant Director Youth Services, Jalandhar thanked all the dignitaries of UNICEF/CYC with their valuable contribution and also thanks all the youth facilitators of Three District and also take assurance on the behalf of the Department of Youth Services, the youth facilitators will make aware the other people regarding their Constitutional Rights and their duties.
