Chandigarh, October 15, 2026: The Department of Statistics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, in collaboration with the Central Placement Cell, organised a two-day workshop on Personality Development and Soft Skills on October 14–15, 2026, at the Seminar Hall of the Department of Statistics.
The workshop aimed to enhance students’ personality, communication abilities, résumé-writing techniques and interview skills to prepare them for professional and career opportunities. The sessions were conducted by Sneha Sharma on Personality Development, Dr Manvinder Kaur on Communication Skills, Hitesh Gulati on Résumé Writing, and Dr Sanjiv Gupta on Interview Skills.
The workshop provided students with valuable guidance on developing essential employability skills and building confidence for their future careers.
The programme was organised under the guidance of the Chairperson of the Central Placement Cell, the Chairperson of the Department of Statistics and the Placement Coordinator of the Department of Statistics.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who attended sessions designed to enhance their personality, communication abilities, résumé-writing techniques and interview skills. The programme aimed to equip students with essential employability skills and prepare them for professional challenges and career opportunities.
