Two-Day AICTE-VAANI 2.0 Seminar Concludes at Chandigarh Engineering College
Over 60 students from various colleges gained insights into the digital world through regional language sessions
                            Mohali, Sep 16, 2025: A two-day national seminar organized under the AICTE-VAANI 2.0 initiative at Chandigarh Engineering College (CEC), Jhanjeri, concluded successfully. Focused on the theme “AI & Data Science: Transforming the Digital World in the Perspective of Industry 5.0”, the seminar aimed at bringing together academic experts, researchers, and industry professionals on a common platform to share their knowledge and experiences on technologies shaping the future.
A key highlight of the seminar was that all the sessions were conducted in Punjabi, the regional language. This unique effort not only fulfilled the objective of promoting high-level technical education but also demonstrated that complex engineering concepts can be simplified for better understanding. Students appreciated the opportunity to understand the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047” in an easy and relatable manner. The sessions also fostered interaction among students, faculty, and professionals, creating meaningful discussions on the role of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in reshaping the digital landscape.
Distinguished speakers including Dr. Sartajvir Singh, Mr. Tejinder Pal Singh Jassal, Dr. Rupinder Singh, Dr. Gurinder Singh Brar, Dr. Inderdeep Singh, Mr. Deepak Sharma, Dr. C.P. Kamboj, and Mr. Varun Sharma lauded AICTE’s initiative to encourage technical knowledge dissemination through simple, accessible language.
Managing Director Arsh Dhaliwal emphasized that this seminar was not just an academic event but also a significant step toward shaping the next generation of engineers, researchers, and innovators. He added, “We believe technical education should not remain confined to advanced knowledge only, but should also be delivered in a language that students can easily grasp. The AICTE-VAANI 2.0 program strengthens this vision.
