This large-scale health initiative offers a wide array of free medical services aimed at improving public health and promoting preventive care. These services include general health screenings, specialist consultations, dental care (scaling, filling, extraction), diagnostic tests, free medicines, X-rays, ECG, eye check-ups, cataract surgeries, and the distribution of free eyeglasses. The programme is designed to provide accessible healthcare to underserved communities and foster health awareness across the region.

Speaking at the inauguration, T. Benith, Deputy Commissioner, Barnala, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Trident Foundation and especially to Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta for organizing such a mega health campaign. He acknowledged the efforts of all the teams involved and described the initiative as a blessing for the entire region. In his message to the public, Mr. Benith also highlighted the rising incidence of cancer in the area, urging citizens to prioritize regular health check-ups and early detection. He further emphasized that the government stands fully committed to supporting such impactful initiatives that contribute to the well-being of society.

The launch of this initiative coincides with a momentous occasion for Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus of Trident Group, who was recently elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Punjab. His election is a testament to the state’s recognition of his decades-long contributions to industrial growth, employment generation, and social development.

Gupta, a recipient of the Padma Shri (2007), Entrepreneur of the Year (Ernst & Young, 2004), and the Distinguished Entrepreneurship Award (PHDCCI, 2005), continues to lead by example through his philanthropic efforts under the Trident Foundation. The Foundation has made a transformative impact in Punjab and Madhya Pradesh through initiatives in education, healthcare, skill development, and community welfare.

This medical camp stands as a reflection of Trident Group’s enduring commitment to social responsibility and its vision to build a healthier, more empowered society.
