Trident Group announces full support to initiatives of government for tackling Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Ludhiana: Trident Group assures full support to the Centre and Punjab government for initiatives to tackle Coronavirus. 

The following are key steps taken by Trident Group:
•    There will no deduction in the pay/ wages of the workers during the holidays or slowdown done due to contain coronavirus threat.
•    Arrangements of food within factory premises for all females who live alone or have meager resources.
•    All officials, who have returned from abroad to mandatorily work from home.
•    Work from policy for all employees till March 31, 2020.
•    Thermal screening of all persons entering the premises.
•    Distribution of Masks, Sanitizers and soaps to the employees.

Sharing views on the issue Group Chairman Mr Rajinder Gupta said that it will stand like rock with the governments on the issue. He said that apart from extending every possible support to the the government, it will take care of families associated with the group. Mr Gupta further said that as per inspiration from Chief Minister Punjab, Trident Group will support each and every step taken by the government and appreciates steps being taken by Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh and fully supports all his decision on the issue. 

Talking about the steps taken so far, Mr Gupta said "Most of our corporate officers are working from home. We are well equipped with IT gadgets. We are fully prepared for this emergent situation and will take care of all employees and their families of Trident Group. The life and security of the workers and citizen is more important.”

He said that if any member showing slightest symptoms is being checked by medical officer for next step and Health and safety of our families is top most priority. He even offered all possible help to the people of Barnala area to meet the challenge of COVID-19.

Mr Gupta also said that the group also fully support the appeal of the PM for "Peoples Curfew" and other steps being taken by the central government to save the lives of people of the country.
