Tributes Paid to Ahmedabad plane crash Victims During Poll Meeting Addressed by Arora
A two-minute silence was observed at the start of an election meeting at Citizen Enclave (Ward No. 58) to honour the victims of the Ahmedabad plane crash. The meeting was addressed by Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election, Sanjeev Arora.

Ludhiana, June 12, 2025: A two-minute silence was observed at the start of an election meeting at Citizen Enclave (Ward No. 58) to honour the victims of the Ahmedabad plane crash. The meeting was addressed by Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election, Sanjeev Arora.
During his speech, Arora spoke at length about the development work he has undertaken over the past three years, stressing that his efforts stem from a deep commitment to serving the people of Ludhiana. He said that his vision for development aligns with the aspirations of the citizens and not personal ambitions. “People form the government, and it is their voice that must guide our work,” he remarked.
Arora promised to give Ludhiana a complete facelift if elected, pledging to transform it into a model city that would become a benchmark for urban development across the country. “People will soon refer to Ludhiana as the most developed city in India,” he stated, urging voters to poll in large numbers to support him in the upcoming by-election.
He also elaborated on the policies of the Punjab government under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, particularly in areas such as education, healthcare, and industry. Emphasizing the importance of democratic participation, Arora appealed to all residents to vote and motivate others to do the same.
He expressed heartfelt thanks to residents of Citizen Enclave, Jiwan Preet Nagar, Raja Garden, and Sukhdev Nagar for their active participation in the event.
Among those present at the meeting were MLAs Jiwan Singh Sangowal and Inderbir Singh Nijher, Municipal Councillor Satnam Singh Sunny Master, Sunil Kapoor, Jagdeep Deol, Balwinder Singh, Nikki Kohli, Rupinder Singh Sekhon, Jeeti Mann, Jaspal Kaur, Harpal Singh, Harminder Singh, and Amit Jain.
