Tree Plantation Drive by 3 PB (G) BN NCC Ludhiana at Village Tajpura

Ludhiana, August 22, 2025: Today, the 3 PB (G) BN NCC Ludhiana organized a Tree Plantation Drive in Village Tajpura, promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. The event witnessed active participation from 45 NCC cadets of Swami Ganga Giri Janta Girls College, Raikot, led by ANO Lt. Jasbir Kaur. The cadets enthusiastically planted saplings and pledged to protect the environment, spreading awareness about ecological responsibility among the local residents.
The drive was held in the gracious presence of Sarpanch Hardev Kaur, who appreciated the efforts of the NCC in fostering environmental values in youth. The Permanent Instructor (PI) staff played a key role in organizing and supporting the event, including Hav Manjit Singh, Hav Ganesh Mane, Jiwan Singh, and Driver Sher Singh, who ensured smooth coordination on ground.
Such initiatives reflect the NCC’s continued commitment to nation-building and community development, instilling a spirit of service, discipline, and eco-consciousness among cadets. The plantation drive not only enhanced the green cover of the village but also served as a reminder of the collective responsibility we all share in preserving nature for future generations.
