Training workshop on the Flowcytometry at Department of Biochemistry

Chandigarh, April 21, 2022: A two day workshop on the Flowcytometry was organized by Department of Biochemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh from 19th April to 20th April. First day session was presided by Prof. Navneet Agnihotri, Chairperson of the Department, in which she stressed on the development of skills for performing and understanding the basic concept of flowcytometry. Mr. Anjan Kumar, Application Scientist, BD Biosciences Ltd. elaborated the basic principles and future applications of flowcytometry. In the afternoon session, the participants were given hands on training on the use of flowcytometry machine for by the experts of BD Biosciences Ltd.  The hand on training session was also conducted on the 2nd day of the event to give a wider exposure to the participants through the analysis of various biological samples.
As many as 40 participants including master’s students, research scholars attended the workshop.
