Ludhiana, May 10, 2023: Asha Chinh Welfare Society, a city-based NGO has started the initiative ARROW – 2023 (Asha Chinh Responsible Road-usage Outreach Workshop) to promote road safety awareness among children and making roads safer for everyone. Under this programme, a comprehensive and thought-provoking workshop on ‘Traffic Etiquettes’ was organised at Bal Bharti Public School on 9th May. Charanjiv Lamba, ACP, Traffic Police, Ludhiana acquainted Bal Bharatians  about traffic rules, classification of roads, traffic signals etc.  The seminar proved to be very informative and beneficial for students as it helped to empower children to make roads safer for themselves and others as well.

It was followed by quiz on road safety conducted by Dr. Rajinder Chawla, Chairman Asha Chinh Welfare Society. Bal Bharatians participated in various mind boggling rounds very enthusiastically displaying amazing acumen and promptness. 

Ashish Sawhney, the Principal enlightened the gathering expressing his firm belief in developing proper civic sense and discharging our responsibilities as responsible citizen of the society to create a secure and educated society.

Dr. S.B. Pandhi and Dr. Rajinder Chawla distributed the prizes among the winners and runner-ups.
