The students of the Heritage Club of Innocent Hearts celebrated ‘World Heritage Day’ under the theme 'Hamari Virasat, Hamari Sanskriti'

Jalandhar April 18, 2023: The students of Heritage Club in all five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.-Jandiala Road, Kapurthala Road and Nurpur) celebrated 'World Heritage Day' with great enthusiasm. Many activities were organized on this occasion. The Ambassador of the Heritage Club told that the purpose of getting these activities done is to make students aware of the protection of historical and cultural places related to human civilization. On this occasion, the students of Heritage Club gave complete information about the country's heritage, Indian monuments and cultural places to the students of grades I and II through Power Point Presentation. Students of Grade IV participated in Collage Making activity on the theme 'Unity in Diversity' based on Indian culture. A 'Cudgel the Brain' quiz competition was organized for the students of grade VIII. Under the theme 'Hamari Virasat, Hamari Sanskriti', students taken to 'Jang-e-Azadi Museum' Kartarpur, connecting them with Indian culture. The students of Grade X took an oath that they will always give their full contribution to keep the country's heritage and cultural sites clean and safe. The students gave proof of keeping their culture alive through various activities like Shabad-Gayan, Gidda, a folk dance of Punjab and Bhangra which was very enticing. In the classrooms, the teachers told the students that if they also keep the country's heritage clean and do not harm it in any way, then they will also be able to contribute significantly to the country in one way or another.
