Gurugram, February 25, 2026: The four-day International Conference on Mental Health, organized at Gurugram University, concluded successfully. This international event, focused on various dimensions of mental health, provided a powerful platform for research, practice, and public awareness.
Senior doctors - Dr. Prateek and Dr. Anu were honored with the “Young Achievers Award” for their outstanding contributions to healthcare services. In the competitive activities, winners of Best Paper, Best Poster, Best Reels, and Best Short Films were felicitated. Additionally, winners in the Half Marathon (men's and women's categories) were awarded certificates and prizes.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sanjay Kaushik said that 8 technical sessions were held during the conference, where experts elaborated in detail on the nuances of research work, latest trends, and practical challenges. A total of 410 students and researchers presented their research papers across the four days - an achievement in itself.
VC Dr. Sanjay Kaushik emphasized that mental health is now a global priority, and it is the university's responsibility to provide concrete solutions to society through research and innovation. He congratulated the conference convener Dr. Gayatri Raina, along with all participants, research scholars, and organizers, for the successful event. The Chief Patron, Registrar Dr. Sanjay Arora noted that such international conferences offer students a global perspective and give new direction to academic excellence.
