The Department of Community Medicine conducts a Health Camp
A health camp was organized by the Department of Community Medicine of PGIMS, Rohtak, under the FAP program, led by the HOD, Dr. Neelam Kumar, and Associate Professor Dr. Rajkumar.
Rohtak, March 19, 2026: A health camp was organized by the Department of Community Medicine of PGIMS, Rohtak, under the FAP program, led by the HOD, Dr. Neelam Kumar, and Associate Professor Dr. Rajkumar.
Dr. Varun Arora, Professor in the Department of Community Medicine, said that the objective of this camp was to provide accessible and quality healthcare services to the community.
During the camp, 750 families were adopted, and 167 patients were examined and treated. In addition to offering services across various specialties—including General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Dentistry—the camp also provided facilities for laboratory investigations and the distribution of medicines.
Medical Officer Dr. Himanshu Jangra, Sarpanch Ajay Deshwal, Senior Resident Dr. Priya, along with the PG residents of the Department of Community Medicine, played an active role in the conducting and managing the camp.
