Ludhiana, November 20, 2025: A major terrorist encounter took place near the Ladhowal Toll Plaza on Thursday evening, according to the Ludhiana Commissionerate Police. Commissioner of Police Swapan Sharma immediately reached the spot and later addressed media persons about the ongoing operation and initial findings.
CP Swapan Sharma also released a series of updates on X, stating:
“In a major breakthrough, Ludhiana Police Bust #PAK ISI Backed Multi-State Gangster-Terror Module; links with Lawrence Bishnoi Gang uncovered. 2 shot (one critically injured).”
“In a fierce encounter, #Ludhiana Police shot two operatives of a terror module who had come to carry out a grenade attack.”
“Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused were in contact with #foreign-based handler through accused based in different states to coordinate pickup and delivery of the consignment and carry out terror attacks.”
“The task was given by the foreign based handler to the accused to carry out the Terror attack using Hand grenades in the State, Government buildings and other targets to create tensions around the state.”
“FIR has been registered at PS Jodhewal Ludhiana under sections of Explosives Act and Arms Act and investigation is underway to explore their links to the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang.”
“Three other accused have been arrested out of which one accused with links to one Pawan who is brother of Harry who carried out firing on the house of Salman Khan in Mumbai has been arrested too. Total 2 Chinese 86P Hand grenades,5 sophisticated pistols and 40+ Rounds recovered.”
