Teaching of Punjabi language in B.A. Courses in Panjab University and its affiliated Colleges

Chandigarh, June 2, 2023: With regard to the issue regarding the teaching of Punjabi language in the B.A. Courses in the Panjab University(PU) and its affiliated Colleges, the subject of Punjabi will be taught same way as it is being taught right now and it will be compulsory subject in all the six semesters with six periods in a week, informed PU Spokesperson. 

This has been stated in a release issued by Panjab University today. 

Further, the release said it is further clarified that the students who have studied Punjabi till Class 10th , he/she will study Punjabi compulsory subject as is being done right now. Further, it is also clarified that the students who have not studied Punjabi till class 10th, he/she will study History of Culture of Punjab.
