Addressing the special interaction, Dr Chauhan said a teacher was not merely responsible for completing the curriculum but served as a guide who prepared students to face life’s challenges. He highlighted the revered position of the guru in the Indian tradition and underlined the role of teachers in nurturing values and a broader outlook among students.
Dr Chauhan also urged students to take pride in Hindi, saying language was not merely a means of communication but a carrier of culture, thought and identity. He encouraged them to promote the use and dignity of Hindi in their daily lives.
He was welcomed at the school by Harbhajan Singh, state president of the Hindu Education Committee. Assistant Acharya Sandeep Bhardwaj was also present.
Principal Somnath Sharma expressed the vote of thanks. He said such interactions played an important role in the personality development of students and strengthened their connect with Indian values.
Students actively participated in the interaction and shared their views on teachers, the guru tradition, Indian education system and the significance of Hindi.
