Teachers of Yes School played games, songs and bhajans with elderly in Old Age Home

Ludhiana, March 4, 2023: Under the Community Outreach Program, DCM Young Entrepreneur School - Yes School- organized a program at Swami Vivekananda Vriddha Ashram, in which the teachers conducted various games and musical programs among the elderly. The main objective of the program was to entertain the elders and give them a sense of belonging.

Various games including pick the cone, counting fun were played by the teachers, due to which a wave of happiness ran among the elders. Apart from old songs, bhajans were also recited by the members of the ashram and shared their life experiences with everyone. Every elder got a chance to present his views. Some narrated the agony of their home and some mentioned their youth, school and college life.
The elders said that indeed today the teachers of DCM Yes School refreshed their sweet and sour memories by organizing a program among them and they will never be able to forget these moments.

Principal Meenakshi Sharma told that the school organizes programs dedicated to such society from time to time. He said that elders are also a part of our society and we should give them full respect. He said that in his school from the very beginning children are given such rituals so that they can respect their parents.

On this occasion, General Manager of the school Harjeet Singh Aulakh, teachers Kavita Davar, Meera Bhalla, Sakshi Sood, Prabhsimran, Aarti Munjal, Nisha, Rohit and others were present.
