Talent Hunt at Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana

Ludhiana, August 18, 2018: After the offstage items of Fine Arts and Home Science competitions, the environment of Ramgarhia Girls College, Miller Ganj, echoed with liveliness as the Talent Hunt was organized today in the College Auditorium. Students showcased their talent in various stage items like dance, singing, skit, choreography and giddha etc. The energetic spirit of the students was the notable feature of the occasion. The function started with a floral welcome to worthy Chief Guest Mrs. Rajinder Kaur(Director G.S Radiators Ltd). Students of all streams showcased their talent in number of items. Many hit Punjabi and hindi numbers turned the audience crazy. Miss fresher contest was the most awaited part of the event. The seniors gave a hearty welcome to their juniors and it picturised a bond of togetherness. The ramp walk by new comers added charm to the occasion. To promote Punjabi culture, surprise competitions were also conducted for the students. Principal Dr. Inderjit Kaur applauded the efforts of Central Students Association in organizing the Talent Hunt. She laid stress on the overall development of the students. She also added that this College always seeks to strike a balance between academic and co-curricular activities for the students. Chief Guest Mrs. Rajinder Kaur also motivated students by saying that mixture of academics and co-curricular activities helps the students to achieve desirable success. She also exhorted the students for developing their overall personality. The occasion reached its zenith with the crowning of Miss Fresher. Principal Dr.Inderjit Kaur accompanied by the Chief Guest felicitated the prize winners. Harsimran Kaur(B.Sc. Ist) was declared Miss fresher, while Rupinder Kaur(PGDCA) was adjudged as Ist runners up and Jasleen Kaur (B.Com. Ist) was IInd runners up.
