SUPVA gets ready for the Convocation Ceremony; VC, Registrar and ASP review preparations and security arrangements

Preparations for the second convocation of Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLCSUPVA) have reached the final stage. On Saturday, the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya and Rohtak's Additional SP Ayush Yadav reviewed the preparations and security arrangements and gave necessary guidelines regarding the preparations. Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha and other officials were also present.

Rohtak, May 2, 2026: Preparations for the second convocation of Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLCSUPVA) have reached the final stage. On Saturday, the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya and Rohtak's Additional SP Ayush Yadav reviewed the preparations and security arrangements and gave necessary guidelines regarding the preparations. Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha and other officials were also present.

The second convocation ceremony will be held at DLC SUPVA on May 4. The ceremony will be presided over by the Chancellor and Haryana Governor; Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh. He will award degrees to 760 students who have completed graduate and postgraduate courses in different sessions.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, will be the chief guest of the ceremony. Education Minister, Mahipal Dhanda, will be the distinguished guest. Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh will inaugurate the annual art exhibition “Abhivyanjana” on Sunday.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya reviewed all the preparations and gave necessary guidelines. Additional SP Ayush Yadav, reviewed all security arrangements and inspected the entire university campus and the event venue along with the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar. He discussed about VIP entry and exit, their stay, parking, and other security-related issues.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya, said during the ceremony, 646 UG and 114 PG students will be awarded degrees. For the 42 students of the 2018-19 batch of FTV, this ceremony will be a memorable moment because this year their degrees have been completed after a tough 100-day shooting schedule, and they will receive their degrees at this ceremony.

Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha, said that efforts are being made to make the moment memorable for the students receiving their degrees, including the creation of selfie points at various places, where students receiving their degrees can also share their thoughts and capture these memorable moments on their mobile cameras.
