Sun Pharma concludes SUN PRISM 2025, a National B-school Competition
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (Sun Pharma), India’s No. 1 pharmaceutical company by revenues and prescriptions1, concluded the grand finale of SUN PRISM 2025, its flagship B-school case competition fostering innovation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
Mumbai, December 10, 2025: Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (Sun Pharma), India’s No. 1 pharmaceutical company by revenues and prescriptions1, concluded the grand finale of SUN PRISM 2025, its flagship B-school case competition fostering innovation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
SUN PRISM (Pharma Reimagined: Innovation, Strategy & Marketing) was launched earlier this year to engage top MBA talent across premier management schools in India, offering them an opportunity to solve real-world marketing challenges in the pharmaceutical industry. In its first Season, PRISM attracted an overwhelming response with 2,100 entries from over 6,400 students across 20+ premier B-schools, where 8 teams consisting of 24 participants advanced through multiple stages of the competition to reach the Grand Finale.

The competition runs across two tracks: Track 1 for first-year MBA students and Track 2 for second-year MBA students. In the high-energy finale held in Mumbai, the teams from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi and Kolkata, Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM), IIT Bombay, Xavier Institute of Management (XIM), Bhubaneswar, and Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai presented to a jury comprising Sun Pharma leaders. After an intense evaluation, Team Zenith from NMIMS and team Placebo from SJMSOM, IIT Bombay were recognised under Track 1, while Team Valor from XIM and Team Out Thinkers from IIFT Kolkata emerged victorious under Track 2. Team Nash Equilibrium from XIM was awarded a special Jury Award for their innovative ideas. The winning teams were awarded prizes and certificates. Sun Pharma will provide individual Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) opportunities to select winners who displayed excellence within team presentations.
The initiative exemplifies Sun Pharma’s commitment to fostering talent and strengthening academia-industry collaboration by empowering emerging leaders with real-world exposure and meaningful career-building opportunities.
