Successful Conclusion of IEEE International Conference on Computational Intelligence Systems and Devices (ICCISD 2026) at Sharda University

Greater Noida: Sharda University, in technical co-sponsorship with the IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section, successfully concluded the IEEE International Conference on Computational Intelligence Systems and Devices (ICCISD 2026). Organized by the Department of Computer Science & Applications, Sharda School of Computing Science & Engineering (SSCSE), this two-day event was held on July 23-24, 2026, and concluded today. The conference brought together renowned academicians, researchers, scientists, industry experts, and students from India and abroad to discuss the future of computational intelligence, intelligent devices, and sustainable digital systems.
The conference received an overwhelming international response, with 1,828 research papers submitted across seven technical tracks by researchers representing 10 countries. Following a rigorous peer-review process, only 150 high-quality papers were accepted for presentation and publication. Key topics discussed included Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Fuzzy Systems, Evolutionary Computation, Intelligent Devices, Embedded Systems, IoT Applications, Robotics, Human-Machine Interaction, Signal and Image Processing, Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, and Trustworthy Systems. Reflecting the university's commitment to sustainable innovation, a dedicated track on Computational Intelligence for Sustainable Systems & Devices placed green and resource-efficient technology at the heart of the conference's research agenda. Accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore.
Speaking at the valedictory session, Prof. (Dr.) S. N. Singh, Director, ABV-IIITM Gwalior, said, "ICCISD 2026 has demonstrated the depth of talent and innovation emerging from India's research community. The event was organized under the guidance of Chief Patrons Pradeep Kumar Gupta (Chancellor, Sharda University & Chairman, SGI) and Prashant Gupta (CEO, Sharda Group of Institutions), and the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sibaram Khara. The conference was led by Dr. Rajneesh Kumar Singh, Head, Department of CSA and Organizing Chair, along with Organizing Chairs Prof. (Dr.) Sudeep Varshney and Prof. (Dr.) Batri K., and Convener & TPC Chair Prof. (Dr.) Sudhir Kumar Sharma. Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Shriram Kushwaha, Dr. Sreejith S., Dr. Deepthi P. S., and Dr. Ravi Prakash Chaturvedi served as Co-Conveners and Publication Chairs. The Technical Program Committee (TPC), reviewers, and organizing committee ensured a rigorous peer-review process and the smooth conduct of all technical sessions.
