Stay Alert Online: Campus School Students Get Lessons on Cybercrime, POCSO Law
The Legal Society of MDU’s Department of Law, in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Rohtak, organised a legal awareness camp on cybercrime and the POCSO Act at the University Campus School. Around 90 students attended the session.

Rohtak, September 4, 2026: The Legal Society of MDU’s Department of Law, in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Rohtak, organised a legal awareness camp on cybercrime and the POCSO Act at the University Campus School. Around 90 students attended the session.
Dr Anusuya Yadav, Director of the Legal Aid Clinic, sensitised students about online fraud, cyberbullying, phishing, identity theft and misuse of social media, besides sharing tips for staying safe online.
DLSA advocate Sakshi Arora explained key provisions of the POCSO Act, 2012, children’s rights and legal safeguards. She urged students to immediately seek help from parents, teachers, police or legal services authorities in cases of abuse or exploitation.
Hitoshi interacted with students and shared practical tips on safe and responsible use of digital platforms. Dr Ashwani, Dr Jaidev, Dr Pradeep Lakra, Campus School coordinator Reena, teachers and law students were also present on the occasion.
