Chandigarh, December 7, 2015: The Punjab Government has notified the reconstituted State Advisory Committee of Education Department. The new committee would advise in framing and executing policies of these departments for the Year 2015-16.
Disclosing this here today an Official Spokesperson said that Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema would be the Chairman of the Committee. The spokesperson further said that committee would have three official members including Chief Parliamentary Secretary Education, Principal Secretary Education and Head of the education department. Principal Secretary would also be member secretary of the committee.
He said that the committee would have 10 non-official members, five from the Shiromani Akali Dal including Mr. Baljit Singh Jalal Usma, Mr. Manjit Singh Manna Mianwind, Mr. Gurpartap Singh Wadala, Mr. Pargat Singh and Mr. Surinder Singh Bhuewal Rathan, three from the Congress including Mrs. Aruna Chadury, Mr. Ashwani Sekhri and Mrs. Charanjit Kaur Bajwa, one from the Bhartiya Janta Party namely Mrs. Seema Kumari and one independent Mr.Balwinder Singh Bains.
