Special lectures on “Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) Scheme”

Chandigarh, February 15, 2024: Special lectures on “Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) Scheme” were organized by SC/ST Cell of Panjab University, Chandigarh in the Auditorium of Physics Department of the University.  

Program was started by a welcome note of Prof. Jagtar Singh, Co-ordinator-cum-Liaison Officer, SC/ST Cell.  This special lecture on the PMS Scheme of Punjab state was delivered by Jagdeep Kumar who is presently Tehsil Social Justice & Empowerment Officer, SAS Nagar, Punjab.  He has talked about Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship Portal that is designated for applying Post Matric Scholarship of SC students of Punjab. He elaborated various provisions of the PMS scheme and free ship card for SC students. He further addressed various queries/questions/problems raised by students/participants staff after the lecture. Attinderpal Singh who is working as Tehsil Social Justice & Empowerment Officer, SAS Nagar, Punjab also interacted with the participants. The programme was closed with vote of thanks to all the students, participants and office staff of SC/ST Cell.
