Spark 2015 organised at Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus

Jalandhar, March 11, 2015: An inter -college event ‘Apeejay Spark 2015’ was organised at Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus. Students from various colleges of Punjab exhibited their technical and artistic skills in the event. The competitions which were held in this event included Net Savvy, Digital Animation, Poster Making, Best out of Waste and Street Play.

It was a tough fight among the contestants of all the competitions. The various guests who were present on the occasion include, Suman Khurana , HOD ,Computer Science Department , KMV College, Gurmukh Singh, Principal, Govt School Hazara, Amarjeet Kaur, Government College , Hoshiarpur and Vivek Aggarwal, Director and owner, Aggarwal Dancing School.

The event included some cultural performances by the students of the institution. Movina and Sumit of MBA II enthralled the audience with their spectacular performance.Sheetal of BBA V also showcased a mesmerizing dance perfomance. The highlight of the event was Street Play Competition in which students presented how our society is confronted with various social evils.The students presented various themes like the ‘plight of old people ‘ , ‘ the deceit of self-proclaimed Babas’  and many more. Vivek Aggarwal and his wife from the famous Aggarwal Dancing Institute gave a special performance.

The students from PCTE, Baddowal, CTIMIT , Maqsudan ,KCLIMT, Khalsa College of Women, Hindu Kanya College, Baba Farid Institute, Bathinda and Rayat Bahra participated in various events.

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director AIMTC welcomed the distinguished guests present on the occasion. He also welcomed and conveyed his best wishes to the participating teams from various colleges and institutes. Dr. Bagga said that such competitions have great educational significance as they help to bring out the hidden talent of the students and rekindle their passion and zeal for learning.
