Solar Entrepreneurship Training Program concludes at NSTI Ludhiana
A nine-day _Solar Entrepreneurship Training Program_ was successfully conducted at the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Ludhiana from 16 April 2026 to 24 April 2026.
Ludhiana, April 24, 2026: A nine-day _Solar Entrepreneurship Training Program_ was successfully conducted at the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Ludhiana from 16 April 2026 to 24 April 2026.
The program was organised under the guidance and command of Col Ajay Kohli, Commanding Officer, 3 Punjab Battalion NCC, with active support from Col JP Sharma, Administrative Officer, and Subedar Major Karnail Singh.
The training was aimed at equipping cadets and local youth with practical knowledge and entrepreneurial skills in solar energy systems, installation, maintenance, and business models. The initiative sought to promote renewable energy awareness and create avenues for self-employment under the Skill India and Atmanirbhar Bharat missions.
The program saw an enthusiastic participation from NCC cadets. Hands-on sessions, industry interactions, and project-based learning were key components of the curriculum.
Speaking on the successful conclusion, Col Ajay Kohli said, “This initiative empowers our youth to become job creators in the green energy sector. NCC remains committed to nation-building through skill development and social responsibility.”
The training concluded on 24 April 2026 with distribution of certificates to all participants.
