Speaking at the event, Shridhar Venkat, CEO of The Akshaya Patra Foundation said, “We are immensely grateful for the support of all our donors, who have been pivotal in our mission of uplifting children across the country. However, our work is far from done. There are still millions of children in need of our support, who deserve a chance of a better future.  In this context, ‘Music for Meals’ is a crucial event, as it not only raises awareness about the impact of nutrition on quality education, but also rallies support from compassionate individuals like yourselves, who are committed to joining us in making a difference.”

The entry to the event was uniquely designed, with individuals getting a complimentary pass by donating to 3 children (Rs. 4500). The proceeds will serve mid-day meals to socioeconomically challenged children in government and government-aided schools across India.
