Silence be observed on Saturday from 11 to 12 noon to pay tribute to those who lost their lives during COVID: DC Ludhiana

Ludhiana: Keeping in view Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh's appeal to the citizens to pay tributes to those who lost their lives due to Covid19 by observing silence every Saturday from 11 am to 12 noon, silence would be observed in District Ludhiana on March 27.

Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Varinder Kumar Sharma has appealed to all the Ludhiana residents to observe silence on Saturday from 11 am to 12 noon to remember the people who passed away during the war against Covid19 pandemic.
He said that road traffic should also be avoided during this time. He said that social organizations should also cooperate for the social cause.

Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana also appealed to the residents of the district to take necessary precautions in view of the increasing number of Covid19 cases. He said that wearing mask at all times, maintaining social distancing and washing hands frequently would enable us to achieve the Mission Fateh of the Punjab government.
