Ludhiana, August 10, 2025: The Shastri Nagar Welfare Society organized a meeting on Sunday at Lal Bahadur Shastri Park (Honey Park) in Shastri Nagar, where local residents gathered to celebrate Environment Protection Day.
On this occasion, moringa plants were planted in the park. Participants were urged to be health-conscious and take active responsibility for environmental protection to ensure a better quality of life for all. They were encouraged to promote healthy living by planting flowers, fruit-bearing trees, medicinal plants, and other shade-giving species.
The society also announced that anyone in need of plants can contact them at Lal Bahadur Shastri Park (Honey Park).
The event was attended by Bhushan Parashar, Pawan Diwan, Sushil Kumar Malhotra, Anil Bahal, Vivek Bharti, Sharad Singh, Charanjeev Bahal, K.L. Chauhan, Rajesh Dhamija, Dr. Alok Narayan, Gurpreet Virk, Bobby Jindal, Tarlochan Singh, and Gurbindar Singh Sody.
