Sharda School of Business Studies (SSBS)  in collaboration with the Training & Placement Department, organised a HR Conclave 2024 . The theme of the conclave was “ The Future of Work – Adapting to Changing Landscapes" in which renowned people from the industry participated as speakers. Sahil Nayar, Senior Director, KPMG; Raosaheb Kangane, Senior Vice President at Kotak Mahindra Bank; Kruti Pancholi, Senior Director ( HR ) Cipla; Chandrima De, Head- HR, VLCC and many others speakers motivated the students of Sharda University.

Sharing his views, Chandan Kashikar, CPO, Jagjit Industries said “ Advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, and robotics are reshaping job roles, emphasizing skills that complement automation. The pandemic has accelerated the adoption of remote and hybrid work models, prompting a rethink of the office-centric approach. Amid these changes, prioritizing employee well-being and fostering inclusive cultures is becoming paramount.
 
Dr. Bhuvnesh Kumar, Officiating Vice Chancellor, Sharda University said “The objective of such conclaves is to introduce students to the concept of the future of work and help them understand the ongoing trends and innovative strategies in the industry. To help understand the skills needed to cope with this change. Flexibility in handling change, being able to meet multiple demands, and adapting to new situations with new ideas or innovative approaches, he said. This means you can not only stay focused on your goals but also easily adjust how you achieve them. An adaptive leader can meet new challenges as they arise and is not put off by sudden change, remaining comfortable with the uncertainty that leadership brings.

Dr. Kapil Pandla, Dean, Sharda School of Business Studies said “ The aim of this program, was to empower students with essential insights for navigating today's dynamic professional landscape. It focused on adaptability, resilience, and continuous learning to address transformative shifts shaping the future of work. These practices are integrated into the curriculum, ensuring students effectively leverage them. The event introduced the concept of the Future of Work, discussed industry trends, identified crucial skills for navigating change, provided insights into future industry dynamics, and facilitated interactions with industry experts for experiential learning. Esteemed speakers from prominent organizations enriched the educational experience with invaluable experiences and perspectives.
