Mohali, August 5, 2026: Shamrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, Mohali, successfully organized Summit 2026 on its campus. The two-day conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from young delegates who engaged in insightful discussions on critical international issues. The primary objective of the event was to nurture leadership, diplomacy, critical thinking, and collaboration among students. The summit provided an excellent platform for students to debate issues related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and explore innovative, sustainable solutions for the future.
The conference commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana, seeking blessings for knowledge and wisdom. School Principal Praneet Sohal welcomed the participants and encouraged students to become compassionate citizens and responsible leaders.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Jatinder Singh, Executive Engineer (XEN), GMADA, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the delegates, he inspired them to embrace diplomacy, thoughtful decision-making, and wished them success in their Model United Nations journey.
The event also featured inspiring addresses by Priyanshu Grover, Founder, President & CEO of Aspirant Learning, and Adarsh Kumar Singh, Founder & COO, who motivated students to recognize the importance of youth leadership and innovation. The first day's proceedings were enriched by a soulful Sufi music performance and a nostalgic presentation of the Shamrock MUN 2025 highlights video.
The two-day summit concluded after a series of engaging debates and enriching learning experiences. A captivating classical dance performance highlighted the importance of mental and emotional well-being among today's youth while symbolically portraying all 17 Sustainable Development Goals. An energetic fusion dance further celebrated India's rich cultural diversity.
The closing ceremony was attended by renowned Radio Jockey, Digital Creator, and Youth Influencer Manav Ahuja as the Guest of Honour. Through his motivational address, he encouraged students to use their voices responsibly and embrace opportunities with confidence. The event concluded with the felicitation of distinguished guests and recognition of outstanding delegates from various committees for their exceptional performances.
