Seminar on topic ‘Fuzzy Logic Computation’

Chandigarh, March 29, 2023: Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, UIET, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized a seminar on the topic ‘Fuzzy Logic Computation’. The session was inaugurated by Dr. Naresh Kumar, Coordinator (ECE) and Prof. Sunil Agrawal, Professor (ECE). Dr. Nidhi Garg introduced the esteemed speaker, Prof. Amod Kumar, HOD (ECE), NITTTR, Chandigarh. Prof. Amod has a vast experience in research and development of different instruments in the area of Process Control, Environmental Monitoring, Biomedical Engineering and Prosthetics. He has also served as Chief Scientist at Central Scientific Instrument Organization (CSIO), Chandigarh.

In the first session, Prof. Amod apprised the participants regarding basics of fuzzy Logic and fuzzy sets. He used real-life examples to explain these concepts. In the second session, implementation using MATLAB software and practical applications like Anesthesia Controller was demonstrated. 

The event was a huge success with around 90 attendees. Dr. Naresh Kumar, Coordinator of ECE, appreciated the efforts of Dr. Nidhi Garg, Dr. Charu and Dr. Garima Joshi for organizing this informative talk.
