Seminar on Software Development Technologies under Alumni Tech-Talk Program

Jalandhar: Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar organized one day seminar on Software Development Technologies under Alumni Tech-Talk Program. Alumnus of the college Amanpreet Kaur (BCA Batch 2011-2014), Mobile Team Head and Gaurav Sharma CTO from O7 Services were resource persons in the program. 

Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur and Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand, Head, Department of Computer Science welcomed them with bouquets and badges of honour. 

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Jasreen Kaur said that it is a laudable initiative to create a dialogue with the current students on the subject of technology and computers. The objective of this seminar was to enable the students to understand the needs of the software industry and latest technologies used in the field of software development. The seminar was intended to help the students to understand and choose the appropriate technology for their projects. They apprised the students on advanced web development and mobile development frameworks. Also the future scope of these frameworks was discussed. Prof Sanjeev Kumar Anand, Head of Department, appraised the resource person for the seminar and motivated the students to attend this kind of learning based programmes. 

Dr. Daljit Kaur from IT department hosted this event. All Faculty members of the IT department were also present on this occasion. Students of the final years of BCA, BSc(IT) and MSc(IT) attended the Seminar.
