Seminar on Idea Generation held at Doaba College

Jalandhar, November 1, 2021: Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Doaba College organized a seminar on ‘Idea Generation and Feasibility Analysis’. Dr. Ashish Arora –Head, Computer Science & University Business School, GNDU College Jalaandhar graced the occasion as chief guest. He was accorded hearty welcome by Principal Dr Pardeep Bhandari, Dr. Naresh Malhotra-IQAC Coordinator, staff and 80 students. Dr. Naresh Malhotra introduced the guest speaker by sharing the vast experience of resource person in the field of incubation and entrepreneurship. Principal, Dr. Pardeep Bhandari motivated the august gathering to think on different lines to break the monotony of professional life. He encouraged the students to participate in thought provoking, innovative and creative activities.
Dr. Ashish Arora shared his practical experience in that field. He highlighted the importance of experiential and empirical learning. He explained the topic by applying various examples of industry and quoted the success stories of young entrepreneurs; those are leading well-known brands like Zomato, Flipkart, Ola, Swiggy and Oyo. Dr. Ashish shared the success story of very young and talented students of Jalandhar colleges, who started their venture name ‘HOLOKITAB’ and presently generating daily revenue of Rs. One lac. He stressed at the point of idea generation, its feasibility and further implementation. He shared thoroughly the capital intensive ideas, technology based ideas and ideas of new age. Dr. Arora also engaged the students in practical exercise and conferred the students the experience of idea generation, customer recognition, need analysis, resource generation and building of a reliable team. At the end, he motivated the students to read the business books, written by eminent businessmen from India and across the globe. Prof. Graima Choda, IQAC Cell member gave the vote of thanks.
