Seminar on Advanced Traffic Management Systems and Road Safety in Punjab 

Ludhiana: A seminar on Advanced Traffic Management Systems and Road Safety in Punjab was held today at Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration (MGSIPA), Chandigarh.
The seminar was conducted by Director General, Lead Agency Road Safety,  Punjab, in which welcome address was given by R Venkat Ratnam - IAS ( Retd.) Director General Lead Agency.
The inaugural remarks were given by K Siva Prasad - IAS Principal Secretary,  Transport, Punjab and concluding remarks were given by Dr S S Chauhan, IPS, ADGP Traffic , Punjab. 
According to available information, seminar was attended by senior stakeholders from Traffic Police, Local Government, PWD , NHAI and many more departments. 
Expert speakers were Dr Navdeep Asija - traffic advisor to Govt of Punjab,  Ar Sanjay Goel- Chairman IIA Punjab Chapter & Director Ludhiana Smart City Ltd,   Shabeer Mohammed from Trivandrum, and  Swannantra Kumar.
