Seerat Kapoor Found Companion On -Set of Gharwali Pedwali!
Actor Seerat Kapoor who plays Savi in &TV’s supernatural horror comedy Gharwali Pedwali, known for her vibrant screen presence and packed shooting schedule, recently experienced a delightful and memorable moment on set when she bonded with a special co-star a charming, well-trained parrot. Amidst long hours of filming, this unexpected, feathered friendship brought a refreshing dose of fun and light-hearted energy to her workday, making the experience all the more special.
Sharing her experience, Seerat Kapoor playing Savi, says, “This is my first time shooting with a bird, and especially a parrot. His name is RIO, and he honestly became the star of our track on set. It felt so cool he was so well trained and so responsive to the trainers. We all enjoyed a lot while filming those scenes. It was hardly challenging as everyone knew what they were doing, and RIO was incredibly disciplined. Doing scenes where you are interacting with a bird and talking to it is actually really fun and refreshing as an actor. In our current track, my character shares some light and heartwarming moments with him, and those sequences have such a natural, feel-good vibe. There is something so fascinating about how expressive and intelligent parrots are RIO would tilt his head and react as if he completely understood the scene! What I also loved was seeing how well he was taken care of. His trainers were extremely attentive and gentle with him at all times. They ensured he was comfortable, well-fed, and given enough breaks between shots. There was constant supervision to make sure he was not stressed, and that made all of us feel at ease. Watching the care and professionalism involved in handling him was truly reassuring.” She further adds, “I have never had any pet in my life except a little fish when I was a kid. Fishes are a very low-maintenance pet, so it was all cute and shiny, but this experience with RIO was completely different and so memorable. Spending time with him between shots, watching how comfortably he interacted with everyone, made the entire schedule feel lighter. I do love dogs and wish to adopt one someday. This track specially made me realize how special it feels to bond with animals. RIO truly added a unique charm to the storyline and to my personal experience on set.”
