Rohtak, June 21, 2026: International Yoga Day was celebrated on Sunday at the Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA).

Around 200 students from Shiksha Bharti Senior Secondary School visited the university to participate in a yoga session. In addition to a tour of the campus, the students were encouraged to incorporate yoga into their lives.

During the event—organized by the Dean of Student Welfare and the Mental Well-being Club—Yoga Guru Shambhu explained the significance of yoga to the participants and guided them through various asanas and exercises. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya, Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha, and faculty members and non-teaching staff were also present.

The school students were provided with detailed information about the importance of yoga for mental health and for improving concentration in their studies. They were also encouraged to make yoga an integral part of their lives.
