School of Engineering and Technology lifts overall trophy of ‘UDAAN’ at CT University

Ludhiana, March 13, 2023: Department of Student Welfare, CT University organized an Inter- School Cultural fest ‘UDAAN’ in which all the schools namely School of Management Studies, School of Humanities and Physical Education, School of Law, School of Engineering and Technology, School of Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Sciences, School of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, School of Hotel Management, Airlines and Tourism and School of Design and Innovation participated. More than 400 participants participated in various activities like Skit, Poetry, Solo singing, Solo Dance, Group Dance, Photography, Rangoli, Mehndi, Solo Singing, Fashion Show, Budding Chef, Debate, Declamation etc.  The zeal and enthusiasm of students was worth watching.


Ishita Verma from School of Humanities and Physical education and Sneha from School of Management Studies engaged the students in various activities and hosted the event.


National level Kathak expert Shubhjeet Kaur, Folk Artist Sumeet Singh, Professional Dancer Davinder jiffy, Dr. Ashwani Rana , Sandeep Singh, Gurpreet Kaur (Fine Arts Teacher) , Harpeet Kaur (Fine Arts Teacher), Theatre Artist Nirmal,  Music teacher Simranjeet Singh , Chef Jaspal Singh from Hayat , Laxmi and Nidhi from livn salon judged various events. The overall trophy was lifted by School of Engineering and Technology and School of Design and Innovation bagged the 1st Runner up trophy.


Deputy Director Department of Student Welfare Er. Davinder Singh congratulated the winners and said “Such events give the chance to students to showcase their talents and boost their confidence. Enthusiasm of students is worth Mentioning. “

Congratulating the winners CT University’s Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh said, “These events bring out the best of potential in students. The events, within campus, up bring students to prepare for National level events. Also, students can tap their unexplored sides.”


On this occasion, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Vice Chancellor (off.) Dr. Satish, Director Planning and Development Ati Priye, Deputy Director Department of Student Welfare Er. Davinder Singh, Dy. Director, Cultural Affairs Sarghi Kaur Barring, Registrar Sarabpreet Singh, Heads and Deans of all schools, faculty and students were present.
