Sat Paul Mittal School students were crowned overall champions in the ASISC Zonal Level Badminton Competition held at Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, August 1, 2022: The budding shuttlers from 9 schools of Ludhiana Zone participated in the ASISC Zonal level Badminton Competition held at Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana on 30th July, 2022 in the Mittal Auditorium. Along with the host school, 90 boys and 60 girls from the different schools of Ludhiana Zone participated in this tournament. The robust players showcased their physical prowess, sportsmanship and fortitude as they participated in the event with zeal and gusto.  

In the Under 19 Senior category, Boys shuttlers from Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana bagged first position and Sacred Heart Convent School, Samrala bagged second position. In the Under 19 Senior category, Girls, Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamalpur bagged the first position and Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana bagged second position in the ASISC Zonal Level Badminton Tournament.

In the Under 17 Junior Category, Boys, the first position was bagged by Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana and the second position was secured by Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamalpur. In the Under 17 Junior category, Girls, Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana seized the first position and Sacred Heart Convent School, Sahnewal secured second position.

In the Under 14 Sub-Junior, Category Boys, the first position was bagged by Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamalpur and second position was bagged by Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana. In the Under 14 Sub-Junior category, Girls, Sacred Heart Convent School, Samrala seized the first position and Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamalpur bagged the second position.
Sat Paul Mittal School students were crowned overall champions in the ASISC Zonal Level Badminton Competition. 

Bhupinder Gogia, Principal, Sat Paul Mittal School, congratulated the winners and their coaches. She expressed her delight on hosting the event after two years of break due to spread of pandemic. She conveyed her gratitude to everyone who contributed their services for making this event a success.
