Sat Paul Mittal School Celebrates Annual Function “Swarnim Bharat: From Ragas to Rhythms” with Grandeur and Cultural Splendor
Adhering to its motto of the school with a difference, Sat Paul Mittal School unveiled yet another heart-warming, colourful and glorious cultural extravaganza: “Swarnim Bharat: From Ragas to Rhythms”, the Annual Function of Classes II,V,VIII and XI on Thursday amongst great splendor, zeal and resplendence.
Ludhiana, November 28, 2025: Adhering to its motto of the school with a difference, Sat Paul Mittal School unveiled yet another heart-warming, colourful and glorious cultural extravaganza: “Swarnim Bharat: From Ragas to Rhythms”, the Annual Function of Classes II,V,VIII and XI on Thursday amongst great splendor, zeal and resplendence. The theme, honoured the glorious journey of Indian music and dance—rooted in nature, enriched by tradition and glowing with modern brilliance. The function was graced by Shri Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Chairman, Governing Council, Sat Paul Mittal School. The Mittal Auditorium radiated excitement as the esteemed members of the Governing Council, dignitaries and parents gathered to witness an evening that celebrated India’s artistic soul. The event commenced with a symbolic green welcome, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, illuminating the stage with hope and auspicious beginnings. The Chairman’s welcome address extended warmth and inspiration, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration. In his welcome address, Mr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal highlighted the school’s stellar achievements and reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds with values, creativity and a deep-rooted pride in India’s cultural heritage.
A soul-stirring invocation, opened the cultural voyage, where the Satyans paid homage to Lord Shiva through powerful movements, rhythmic energy and divine grace. The performance invoked blessings and set the spiritual and artistic momentum for the evening. It was followed by the Annual Report presented by the Satyans of Class XI, showcasing the school’s achievements, national accolades and a year marked by excellence. The thematic play emerged as the heart of the evening—a time-travel adventure with a magnificent time machine to journey across India’s musical evolution. As the gears turned and lights shimmered, each era unfolded like a world reborn on stage. The Satyans of Class V took the audience to the Prakriti Yug, when music rose from the rustle of forests, the gush of rivers and the whispers of the universe itself .The little Satyans of Class II depicted sounds of music, how early humans echoed nature’s rhythms with wonder and curiosity. The emergence of the Sangeet Yug—its discipline, devotion and divinity was showcased through enthralling performances by the Satyans of Class VIII. The Satyans of Classes VIII and XI brought alive the Natya Yug- celebrating classical dance forms that unite rhythm, expression and spirituality. It was followed by power packed performance by the Satyans of Class VIII exhibiting the magic of Sufi era—melodies of surrender and devotion. The Satyans of Class V portrayed the evolution of melodies during colonial times—when music became a weapon of unity and resistance. A wonderful display of India’s joyous folk traditions—from Kalbelia to Dhunuchi—each performance radiating energy and cultural vibrancy was showcased by the Satyans of Classes V, VIII and XI. The Satyans of Class XI delivered a foot-tapping journey through iconic Bollywood era, blending tradition with contemporary flair. The finale was a dazzling spectacle, celebrating India’s golden heritage, its unity in diversity and its unstoppable march into a brilliant future.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Bhupinder Gogia, Principal, Sat Paul Mittal School. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Management, the teachers, the parents and the Satyans for making the Annual Function a memorable day for all. The function culminated with the National Anthem.
