VC Dr. Amit Arya chairs the Finance Committee meeting; focus will remain on strengthening SUPVA's Infrastructure

In the new financial year, there will be a special focus on further strengthening the existing infrastructure of Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPA), Rohtak. This decision was taken in the Finance Committee meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya.

Rohtak, March 10, 2026: In the new financial year, there will be a special focus on further strengthening the existing infrastructure of Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPA), Rohtak. This decision was taken in the Finance Committee meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya.

During the meeting, ACS Finance representative Sumer Singh Yadav, Director General of Technical Education representative Sanjay Charaya, and Chancellor's representative CA Hanmandloo joined online from Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha as the Member Secretary of the Finance Committee along with Dean Academic Affairs Dr. Ajay Kaushik, Chief Accounts Officer Vikas Gulia, Account Officer Parvinder Singh, and CA Rakesh Kumar Garg were also present in the meeting.

The previous year's audit report presented in the meeting was unanimously approved. Furthermore, the discussion focused primarily on the university's future plans. The Vice Chancellor directed to inform the government about these plans in a timely manner, so that the government can release the varsity’s budget and other resources in time.

Giving information about the Finance Committee meeting, Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha said that a plan to strengthen the university's networking and other infrastructure was also discussed. It was mentioned in the meeting that the outdated items in the Central Auditorium, Mini Auditorium, and Modeling Auditorium need to be upgraded as per the present times, hence special focus will be given on these in the new financial year, so that no additional expenditure has to be incurred later during any event.
