Sanjeev Arora Extends Lead to Over 3,000 Votes After Round 3 in Ludhiana (West) Bypoll

After the completion of the third round of counting in the Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora has further strengthened his lead. Arora secured 2,423 votes in Round 3, bringing his cumulative tally to 8,277 votes.

Ludhiana, June 23, 2025: After the completion of the third round of counting in the Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora has further strengthened his lead. Arora secured 2,423 votes in Round 3, bringing his cumulative tally to 8,277 votes.
BJP’s Jiwan Gupta maintained second position with 2,421 votes in this round, taking his total to 5,217 votes. Bharat Bhushan Ashu of the Congress added 1,722 votes in the third round and now stands at 5,094 votes.
Advocate Parupkar Singh Ghuman of SAD secured 811 votes in this round, pushing his total to 2,575 votes.

The total number of votes counted up to Round 3 stands at 21,635. With a lead of 3,060 votes, Sanjeev Arora is comfortably ahead as the counting progresses.
