Chandigarh, February 22, 2026: Senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party and its National Council Member and Co-In-Charge, Himachal Pradesh, Sanjay Tandon, on Sunday joined party workers and local residents to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s iconic ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme at Park No. 3, Sector 41A, Chandigarh.
Addressing the gathering, Tandon said that every episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is full of valuable takeaways and consistently inspires citizens to contribute their best towards building a more inclusive, self-reliant and stronger India. He said the Prime Minister’s words motivate people from all walks of life to participate actively in nation-building.
Tandon said that in today’s address, Prime Minister Modi touched upon several inspiring themes reflecting India’s progress, pride and people’s participation. He highlighted India’s growing leadership in artificial intelligence and digital transformation, noting the importance of global AI platforms in positioning the country at the forefront of innovation.
He further said that speaking about cricket, the Prime Minister expressed pride in T20 cricketers of Indian origin representing other countries, calling them shining examples of the global Indian diaspora’s continued emotional connection to their roots. The Prime Minister also mentioned the proposed installation of a statue of C. Rajagopalachari, India’s first Governor-General, as a tribute to his immense contribution to the nation.
Reinforcing the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Prime Minister Modi emphasized self-reliance across sectors and praised farmers for successfully combining traditional knowledge with modern agricultural practices.
Addressing students appearing for examinations, the Prime Minister encouraged them to remain calm and confident, reminding them that exams are only a part of life and not its ultimate measure.
Tandon said Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Maan Ki Baat’ programme reflected optimism, national pride and a strong call for collective participation in India’s growth journey, urging citizens to draw inspiration from the Prime Minister’s message and work together for the nation’s progress.
