SAE UIET Teams Secure Top Positions at BITS Pilani Tech-Fest APOGEE 2026
The SAE Club of University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, secured top positions at APOGEE 2026, the annual technical festival hosted by BITS Pilani on April 12, 2026.

Chandigarh, 15 April 2026: The SAE Club of University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, secured top positions at APOGEE 2026, the annual technical festival hosted by BITS Pilani on April 12, 2026.
Team Mozarella and Team Virus achieved 1st and 2nd positions, respectively, in the Nano Labyrinth Micromouse competition, competing against teams from across the country.
Team Mozarella, with their micromouse Pascal v.08, secured the 1st position along with a cash prize of ₹25,000, demonstrating strong technical precision and performance. Team Virus followed with their micromouse Heisenberg, securing 2nd position and a cash prize of ₹15,000.
The participating students included Mohammed Talha, Ashish Pascal Kujur, Vedant Pathak, Supriya Bhardwaj, Aaditi Malik, Tanish Singla, and Vasu Kambli. The teams acknowledged the support of Director UIET Prof. Sukhwinder Singh, along with faculty advisors Prof. Shankar Sehgal and Dr. Anjali Gupta.
The achievement reflects the emphasis on innovation, applied learning, and technical training at PU, Chandigarh, with continued encouragement from the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Renu Vig for student participation in national-level competitions.
