Sacred Souls School celebrates national girl child day

Mohali: The National Girl Child day was celebrated at Sacred Souls’ School to sensitise the students about the challenges faced by girls all over the world. Students delivered speeches stating the importance of the day and raising the awareness in students about the gender gap prevalent in the society. Students also shared compelling quotes by prominent women achievers during the special assembly. 

The Dean of the school Jyoti Sharma, while addressing the assembly touched important points health and education of girl child. Later, Students organized a Pause-to-Listen awareness program on gender equality in the school where they approached other students of the school and shared relevant facts and poetry. They also urged them to educate themselves about the issue.
