The students handed over the collected funds and materials to Mr. Himanshu Jain, Deputy Commissioner, who appreciated their commitment towards social welfare and assured that the resources would be distributed to the affected families at the earliest.
Expressing their feelings, Aviraj Sayal of Class 3 said, ''When we saw the pictures of people who lost everything in the floods, we knew we had to help in some way, Even though we are still young we believe that small efforts can create big change. We are happy that we could contribute.''
Another student Aayat added, “We collected money and useful things with the hope that it will make life a little easier for the children and families affected.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said, “It is truly inspiring to see young students stepping forward to support the community in times of crisis. Their efforts set an example for others to follow.”
The school principal Sister Shanti DSouza also commended the initiative, stating, “We are extremely proud of our students.
