Ludhiana, August 15, 2026: The 3 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC, Ludhiana under NCC Group HQs Ludhiana, celebrated Independence Day 2026 with a dignified ceremony marked by the hoisting of the national flag and a ceremonial salute led by the Commanding Officer, Instructors, Cadets and Civilian Staff.
Cadets, smartly attired in khaki uniforms with green berets and red hackles, stood in disciplined formation, embodying the Corps’ proud motto of “Unity and Discipline.” The presence of all ranks underscored the collective effort behind the training and smooth conduct of the event.
The ceremony highlighted the NCC’s mission of instilling patriotism, discipline and leadership among youth. Addressing the gathering, the Commanding Officer emphasized that “small beginnings lead to great success and glory,” reminding cadets of their vital role in nation-building.
The event concluded with renewed pledges of service and dedication, reflecting the spirit of Independence Day and the NCC’s commitment to grooming responsible citizens of India.
