Romi Ghai organises thanksgiving get together 

Chandigarh: Romi Ghai of Chandigarh won the title of Kohinoor Mrs. World Punjaban India in the recently held beauty pageant. Romi Ghai organised a Thanksgiving Get Together on Wednesday at a local hotel to  show gratitude to Nancy Ghuman and show curator Manish Gautam. 

Romi Ghai said that she was able to win the title due to the love and support of husband, son Siddhant and family members and friends. Her son insisted her to participate in her dream event and specially sent her back from Canada so that Romi could take part in this show. Sidhant was also constantly motivated by making video calls every day.

“With such a platform, married women like me can live dreams of their college days, she  was waiting for this  precious  moment from past many years and now it is fulfilled after winning the title”, she said.  

Romi said that she is also a social activist and always help the needy. The biggest reason to be a part of this show was to live my love for Punjabi culture and our Virsa  - Romi said that from the days of college till  she completed her M Sc .I.T., she was fond of being associated with cultural shows  but after marriage, all this was missed due to the engagements  in the family, but all her desires were fulfilled by this show.
