Role of women is crucial in municipal elections: Deepti Rawat

Chandigarh, November 18, 2021: A meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha was held on Thursday at Kamalam, the state office located in Sector-33. BJP Mahila Morcha's National General Secretary Deepti Rawat specially participated in this meeting. Deepti Rawat met the women workers and motivated them to contribute in a big way in the coming municipal elections.
This meeting was held under the chairmanship of BJP women's state president and councillor Sunita Dhawan. State in-charge of Mahila Morcha Kailash Chand Jain was also present in the meeting. Apart from them, National Working Committee member and former Mayor Poonam Sharma, State General Secretary of Mahila Morcha Neha Arora and Ruby Gupta, District Presidents of Mahila Morcha, district in-charge and state officials participated.
“The role of women in the municipal elections is very important. Bharatiya Janata Party is the only political party where women are given full respect and women have also shown their participation on every front. Therefore, in the coming elections, women will have to come forward and participate in the activities of the party in every ward” said Deepti Rawat during the meeting.
She said that women also have to come forward to take the achievements of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government to the people. On this occasion, BJP Mahila Morcha in-charge Kailash Chand Jain gave organizational guidelines and motivated women to work in the elections. State President of BJP Women, Sunita Dhawan gave detailed information about the work done by the Mahila Morcha in the city so far. She assured that each and every worker of Mahila Morcha will work hard to get the victory of BJP in the corporation elections and will hoist the flag of BJP in all 35 wards.
