Rohtak Shows Improvement in CM Window Performance; DC Sachin Gupta Reviews Grievance Portals and Orders Faster Disposal
Rohtak, January 30, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta chaired a comprehensive review meeting of public grievances received through CM Window, Jan Samvad, CPGRAMS, SMGT and Samadhan Shivirs and directed all departments to ensure time-bound, factual and error-free disposal of every pending case.
During the review, it was noted that Rohtak district’s composite CM Window score improved from 69.56 to 70.19 between 16 January and 29 January, indicating progress in grievance redressal efforts. The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the improvement but emphasised that further acceleration in disposal is required to raise the district’s overall standing.
The meeting included a detailed department-wise analysis of overdue complaints in revenue, municipal, panchayat, irrigation, public health, police and other offices. Officers were directed to personally monitor delayed and reopened cases, ensure complete replies are uploaded on portals and maintain direct communication with complainants so that grievances are resolved permanently.
Portal-wise pendency under Jan Samvad, CPGRAMS and SMGT was also scrutinised, including newly registered complaints and deferred cases. The Deputy Commissioner instructed all concerned officers to adhere strictly to prescribed timelines and prevent avoidable accumulation of cases, while submitting regular progress reports for weekly monitoring.
Reiterating the administration’s commitment to citizen-centric governance, the Deputy Commissioner stated that grievance redressal remains a top priority and warned that unjustified delay or casual handling of complaints will invite strict administrative action.
The meeting concluded with directions for continuous tracking of portal performance so that Rohtak district continues to improve its disposal rates and service-delivery indicators.
